3. I do Tai Chi but don’t know much about Qi Gong, would this be a good course for me?
Absolutely! Many of the people who have done this course are also Tai Chi Players. Tai Chi is one type of
Qi Gong.
If you have a good teacher then you know that cultivating Qi in and around the body is as important (if not
more so) than moving the Qi. Qi Gong builds Qi, purifies it, moves and balances it within the body. Without
good Qi in the body, Tai Chi becomes a dance versus a healing art; every good Tai Chi Player/Master has a
Qi Gong practice as well.
4. I have had some health issues, will I be able to keep up?
Yes, the classes are broken into short segments. You’ll only do what you can on a given day and continue
when you have the time and energy. As you go through this program you’ll find your energy and stamina
will increase.
Some of the movements are adapted into easier and harder versions. Either way we never ‘push’ the body,
instead we build up that strength, stamina, flexibility and balance over time.
